Joining BBC Sportsround team
Stars of BBC Sportsround (Lizzie & Aiden) teamed up with junior players to compete (Lydia from YorkshireMeds)
The 2008 tournament welcomed the BBC Sportsround team made up of Lizzie & Aiden from the BBC Sportsround and four junior players from respective marbles teams; 1st MC Erzebirge, Black dogs and Yorkshire Meds. The six players made up the team called the Sportsround Superstars.
Lydia from Yorkshire Meds was part of the team and participated in the team's event. A short film of their exploit was shown the day after on the BBC 2 TV channel.
